How to Build a World

This hand-built interactive sculpture explores how a world might emerge from a limited set of geometric forms and rules. Each wooden element was individually made and painted by hand, forming part of an evolving personal vocabulary of shapes and symbols.
Within the triangular structure, these elements can be assembled, balanced and rearranged, allowing smaller configurations to emerge within a larger spatial system. The work became an early exploration of rule-based sculpture in my practice, where a set of simple constraints can generate multiple sculptural possibilities.
